The top ten companies are Texas Instruments, Analog Devices, Skyworks, Infineon, STMicroelectronics, Verizon, NXP, ON Semiconductor, Microchip and Renesas.

NO.1 Texas Instruments

Texas Instruments (TI) has topped the list for many consecutive years, with analog IC sales of $14.1 billion, accounting for 19% of the market. TI's analog IC performance will increase by 29% in 2021. Overall, this performance is quite satisfactory under the semiconductor super cycle, but the advantage is that the chassis is large and stable, so there is no pressure to be the leader in analog ICs. NO.2 Analog Devices (ADI)

The second-ranked ADI will increase its analog IC sales by 21% in 2021, accounting for 12.7% of the market share, closely following the dominant Texas Instruments. ADI spent $28 billion to complete its acquisition of Maxim Integrated products in August 2021, and while Maxim is No. 7 in 2020, Maxim's addition to Analog Devices is large.

In third place with $5.9 billion in analog sales in 2021 is Skyworks Solutions, whose 49% revenue growth was the largest increase among the top analog vendors last year. NO.5 STMicroelectronics (ST)

ST's 2021 company's operating income is $12.761 billion, with analog ICs accounting for about 30%. The ranking is stable, but there is room for growth. ST's business is broad and fragmented, with more than 10W customers, the largest being iPhone maker Apple and electric vehicle leader Tesla.

The rest of the strong

Qorvo has strong growth in 2021. Its business is diversified by end market, with the development of 5G and IoT connectivity being Qorvo's two main long-term drivers. Qorvo's largest customer is Apple (30% of revenue), followed by Huawei (5% of revenue).

NXP is remarkable. In 2021, the annual automotive business revenue will reach 5.493 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 44%, accounting for nearly 50% of the total revenue.

ON Semi ranked eighth with strong growth. The 2021 fiscal year achieved a record performance, with revenue of US$6.74 billion, a year-on-year increase of 28.3%, of which the analog IC business revenue accounted for about one-third of the full-year performance.

Microchip accounted for 2.5% of the market. Microchip, ranked ninth, is a supplier of intelligent, interconnected and secure embedded control solutions. Its main products are MCU and analog chips, and its product solutions are mainly for industrial, automotive, consumer, aerospace and Defense, communications, and computing markets.

Renesas has a 1.5% share, which is slightly inferior. Renesas Technology is one of the world's top ten semiconductor chip suppliers, ranking tenth with $1.1 billion in analog IC sales.
